Necip Çağhan Özdemir is a writer, director, and producer who resides in Los Angeles, California. After graduating from the Bilkent University (political science and international relations), Çağhan moved to the United States where he studied film and theatre as parts of various programs between 2011 and 2015. He concurrently works on commercial film productions. He’s a co-producer of the TV series “The Football Show” (2013) among others. In 2015 he began working on his own projects as a writer and director. His short film debut “Happiness” (2017) premiered at the 23rd Sarajevo Film Festival and was nominated for the Heart of Sarajevo (Best Short Film). Screenings at various festivals around the world then followed. “Pure White” (2021) is his feature debut.
