Selcen Ergun got her MA in directing/screenwriting at Istanbul Bilgi University after studying Industrial Design and Visual Culture at METU. She is a Berlinale Talents and Medienboard Nipkow Artist in Residence alumna. Her short films “Confrontation” and “A Sunny Day” were selected by several international film festivals and awarded prizes. “Snow and the Bear”, a Turkish-German-Serbian co-production supported by Eurimages, is her feature debut.
