Mateusz Szemraj

Mateusz Szemraj – he graduated from the Chopin University of Music where he attended Professor Ryszard Bałauszko’s classic guitar classes. He also plays electric guitar and ethnic instruments: Arab lute (al oud), Persian lute (tar), and Polish dulcimer. He was twice a recipient of an artistic fellowship from the Minister of Culture and Art. He’s a laureate of Polish and international guitar contests. He collaborated with orchestras of the National Opera and the National Philharmonic, Oskar Kolberg Świętokrzyskie Philharmonic, and Sinfonietta Cracovia. He participated in recordings of film and theatrical soundtracks. He’s a member of music groups Sentido del Tango and MOSAIC, among others.
