This story is based on true events and takes place in Sarajevo where a modern woman uses modern society’s invention, i.e., a dating event. The event is organised with great enthusiasm. The place resembles a totalitarian world. To follow the rules, participants have to wear an apron. Elegant 40-year-old Asja obediently wears one, too. She meets a 43-year-old banker Zoran whom she chose earlier online. Zoran evidently doesn’t look for love. The beginning of their meeting is a clash: of who they are, who they would like to be, what they want to foster, and what they want to forget. A brilliant dramaturgic idea and dialogues keep in suspense. Viewers have the impression that they’re watching a battle for participation in the life of modern society. The tension between Asja and Zoran increases quickly up to the moment when it turns out that they are bound together by a horrific past which goes back to the war. This makes the woman furious. Her anger intensifies Zoran’s passiveness. He doesn’t look for love but for forgiveness. The man’s need puts Asja to the test she tries to pass. Will she become the happiest man in the world? The film was a North Macedonian submission for the Academy Award.
