"The Exam"

We keep up the momentum and present you another film screened at the "Eurasia" Festival - the Iranian drama "The Exam". Its director, Shawkat Amin Korki, poses questions about whether it is possible to realize one's ambitions by living life of someone else, and whether cheating can be justified, since there are no other chances for success in a society permeated with corruption. Such are the dilemmas faced by Kurdish woman Shilan, who is stuck in an unhappy arranged marriage and believes that education is the only way to save her younger sister Rojin from this fate. She has a difficult exam to get into college, but her sister will do everything to ensure that Rojin has a better future than herself...
