Dear viewers! The next movie that we would like to introduce to you is "Hive" by Blerta Basholi - last year's Oscar candidate from Kosovo, so the film comes from our Oscar section. Its main character is Fahrije, whose husband disappeared during the war in Kosovo and there is no information about him for years. Life, however, does not allow her to plunge into despair - she is the mother of two children, she also has a disabled father-in-law under her care. Fahrije also does not comply with the patriarchal rules, according to which women are not allowed to work - she gets a driving license, drives her own car to Pristina to sell honey from her own apiary, and also starts a business and starts producing ajvar. Her attitude also mobilizes other women, which will result in the establishment of an agricultural cooperative. "Hive" is a moving story about hope in the face of tragedy, coming to terms with loss and looking into the future, as well as women's solidarity and their inner strength.
