The film that we would like to recommend to you today is the Palestinian Oscar candidate - the drama "The Stranger". Director Ameer Fakher Eldin places its action in the Golan Heights on the border of Syria, Lebanon and Israel. Residents of the region live in the shadow of war that has been raging on in Syria. This is where Adnan, a middle-aged man, a doctor without a diploma, lives. One night he asks his friends a question: “What would you do if someone from the other side of the border fence asked you for help?”. He already knows the answer because he’s about to help a seriously wounded soldier from Syria and thus shake the local community.
