Endless Borders is a moving drama by Iranian master director Abbas Amini. The main roles are played by Ahmad, a teacher who has been exiled to a remote village on the border with Afghanistan, and his wife Niloofar, who has just been released from prison in Tehran. Together they must face the past that is constantly trying to catch up with them.
The film has won acclaim at world festivals, winning awards in Rotterdam, Goa and Tirana, among others. Amini depicts with extraordinary subtlety the everyday life on the border, where humanity faces the brutal reality of political and social restrictions.
Immerse yourself in the story of Ahmad, who meets a family of refugees from Afghanistan, and see how impossible boundaries are crossed by simple human kindness. This is a film about the boundaries that divide and unite, about the struggle with fate and the strength of the human spirit trying to find a path to freedom and peace.
The film will be shown in its original language version with Polish and English subtitles.
